Is my data safe?

Absolutely. Petal is 100% offline. All your data is stored only on your device. We never collect, upload, or share any of your information. No one — including us — can access your data.

What happens if I delete the app?

All your data will be permanently deleted since it's stored only on your device. We have no backup of your data. Make sure to back up your iPhone via iCloud or iTunes if you want to preserve your data.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Petal on your new device, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchase". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How accurate are the predictions?

Predictions are based on your logged cycle history and improve over time. The more cycles you track, the more accurate your predictions become. Note that Petal is not a medical device and should not be used for contraception.

I forgot my passcode. What do I do?

Since Petal is completely offline, we cannot reset your passcode remotely. You will need to delete and reinstall the app, which will erase all data. We recommend using a passcode you'll remember.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes! Petal works entirely offline. The only feature that requires internet is the In-App Purchase (handled by Apple). All tracking, logging, and predictions work without any internet connection.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for your purchase.

Can I transfer my data to a new phone?

If you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or iTunes backup, your Petal data should transfer automatically since it's stored in the app's local storage.
