Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Invoice Maker - AI Billing ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Invoice Maker - AI Billing is a mobile application that allows users to:

• Create, manage, and send professional invoices and estimates.
• Use AI-powered voice and text input to generate invoices.
• Manage clients, track payments, and view business reports.
• Export invoices as PDFs for sharing and printing.
• Customize invoices with professional templates.

The App is designed as a tool for creating and managing invoices. It is not an accounting software, tax preparation tool, or financial advisory service.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Providing accurate and current information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

Premium Plans:

• Monthly: $4.99/month — Unlimited invoices, all templates, AI features, cloud sync.
• Yearly: $39.99/year — Everything in Monthly plus advanced reports, CSV/PDF export, multiple businesses.
• Lifetime: $79.99 one-time — All features forever, including future updates.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period, in accordance with Apple's refund policies.

5. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial expires. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. AI Features

The App includes AI-powered features such as Voice-to-Invoice and AI Chat. By using these features:

• You consent to your voice recordings and text inputs being processed by our AI services.
• You understand that AI-generated invoices should be reviewed for accuracy before sending.
• You acknowledge that AI features require an active internet connection.
• We mask personally identifiable information before AI processing to protect your privacy.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all invoice details before use.

7. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including invoices, estimates, client data, and business information. By using the App:

• You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you enter.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal invoices.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the rights of others.
• Distribute malware or engage in any malicious activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any purpose other than legitimate business invoicing.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, templates, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Compliance with any specific tax or legal requirements in your jurisdiction.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue or business opportunities.
• Errors in invoice calculations or AI-generated content.
• Data loss or corruption.
• Any tax or legal issues resulting from invoices created with the App.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease.
• Data stored locally on your device will remain accessible until you delete the App.
• Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your Apple ID settings.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
